It appears as if Walt Disney World has increased prices on yet some more items this year.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, prices on items like wheelchairs, electric scooters and lockers have increased this week to the following:

  • Small locker at a theme park – $7 per day – up from $5 per day, or a 40% increase
  • Large locker at a theme park – $9 per day – up from $7 per day, or a 29% increase
  • Small locker at a water park – $8 per day – up from $5 per day, or a 60% increase
  • Large locker at a water park – $10 per day – up from $7 per day, or a 43% increase
  • Wheelchair rental – $12 per day – up from $10 per day, or a 20% increase
  • Electric scooter rental – $50 per day – up from $45 per day, or a 11% increase

Of course, these increases come just a few months after Disney raised most of their ticket prices in August, something they have been doing on an almost annual basis for several years.

Some of the tickets that changed were:

  • One-day, one-park adult ticket – $79 per day – up from $75 per day, or a 5.3% increase

  • Five-day, one-park child ticket – $195 per day – up from $187 per day, or a 4.1% increase
  • Six-day, one-park child ticket – $198 per day – up from $190 per day, or a 4.2% increase
  • Seven-day, one-park child ticket – $201per day – up from $193 per day, or a 4.1% increase
  • Eight-day, one-park child ticket – $204 per day – up from $196 per day, or a 4.1% increase
  • Nine-day, one-park child ticket – $207 per day – up from $199 per day, or a 4.0% increase
  • Ten-day, one-park child ticket – $210 per day – up from $202 per day, or a 4.0% increase

OTHER OPTIONS

  • Park hopper option – $52 – up from $50, or a 4% increase
  • Water park fun and more option – $52 – up from $50, or a 4% increase

Obviously, these increases are far exceeding the inflation rate which has trended in the negative territory for most of the year.  We will have to see if it appears to affect park attendance or operations in any way.
