WDW Passholders Can Ride Free At Richard Petty Driving Experience

Those individuals who have a season pass to Walt Disney World are now being offered a special bonus for a limited time only.

Through March 31st, 2010, passholders can show up to the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway and be treated to a free ride along in a NASCAR style race-car.  The car will be driven by a professional driving instructor at speeds up to 140 MPH during the three mile-long laps.

This ride-along normally costs $109 making it quite the deal for current passholders.  It might also be a good incentive for interested individuals to buy a season pass instead of Magic-Your-Way tickets if they would like to take part in the promotion.  The added bonus is that if they purchase season passes, they can visit Disney World as many times as they would like (or can afford) during the next year and not have to spend any additional money for park entrance. So the free ride is both a bonus to passholders, and an incentive to those who would be interested in the ride-along to buy season passes instead of park tickets.

Current season pass prices are $489 for the standard pass and $619 for the premium annual pass.  Both entitle purchasers to 365 days of theme park admissions, park hopping privileges, theme park parking and other special discounts and offers.  The premium pass also adds in water park admission, Disney Quest admission and entrance to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.

The free ride-along is limited to one per passholder during the promotion.  Riders must be at least 14 years of age with an adult accompanying anyone under 18.

For more information, see the Richard Petty Driving Experience website.
