As reported a few weeks ago, the new Disney Cruise ship known as the Disney Dream is due to set sail in January of 2011.

As we also informed you, the ship is going to be home for a first in the cruise industry, a water coaster called the AquaDuck.  The 765 foot long flume takes adventurous individuals (48″ and taller) in a clear acrylic tube ride that starts on the 12th deck.  After barreling over the edge of the ship, the ride deposits the raft in a lazy river.

Sounds exciting doesn’t it?  Well, if you want to see what the ride might be like, the Disney Cruise line has offered you a sample.

You can take a virtual ride of the AquaDuck through the video they released shown below.  (Thanks to Disney Cruise Lines.)

For those interested, bookings are now being accepted via their website or by calling (800) 951-3532.
