The Disney Parks Blog is reporting that a new pizzeria restaurant is under construction and due to be open this fall in the Italy pavilion of Epcot. Designed with traditional Florentine decor, the new restaurant will seat 300 people and include outside dining.
For those that might be concerned about the existing restaurant in Italy called Tutto Italia Ristorante, you need not be. It is remaining and will still offer the same signature dining that you have come to expect.
What is interesting, however, is that the new restaurant will actually be owned and operated by the same people who own Tutto Italia, Patina Restaurant Group. This organization is no stranger to fine dining and operates over 60 specialty locations throughout the country, with a lot of those tied to cultural facilities such as museums and art centers.
