To catch everyone up on the parks hours for WDW, we have added them for this month. We cover all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) as well as for the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon). Extended Magic Hours (EMH).
**Please note the extended hours offered throughout the month, especially those between Christmas and New Years. Obviously, crowd levels will be extremely high, but the hours should help, especially for those willing to go early (some parks are opening at 7AM) or stay late (some nights parks are open until 3 AM).
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is closed the month of December for refurbishment. For those wanting a water park experience, Blizzard Beach is slated to be open 10AM-5PM daily. Continue reading “Walt Disney World December 2009 Park Hours” »
The Walt Disney Company announced in a press release that they are one step closer to another theme park. According to the statement, the central government of China has given preliminary approval for a Shanghai park to be built.
With this go ahead, Disney is free to work with its partners to create a final agreement for a park similar to the other parks the company has created abroad such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney. Adding the Park Hopper option to your base ticket allows you to go to more than one park in the same day. Many people enjoy the freedom the Park Hopper gives you when planning your trip. You can go to your favorite Animal Kingdom ride in the morning, eat at your favorite Epcot restaurant in the afternoon & watch fireworks at the Magic Kingdom in the evening. You also have the advantage of being able to move to another park later in the day if you choose, because the park you are in closes earlier than the other parks or because of crowd levels or weather.
