The Operating Park Hours for Walt Disney World Resort are now available for the month of July 2011. These hours will definitely be of use to those planning a summer vacation to the land of the mouse, especially those wanting to make dining reservations at Disney World as you need to consider the 180+ window of booking those reservations.

Park hours are offered below for all four theme parks of Disney World including the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. We also have hours for the two Disney World Water Parks of Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, but they are relatively simple. They appear to be operating from 9AM-7PM on July 1 and 2, then switching to 9AM-8PM the rest of the month.

To find Park Hours for other months, see the All Things Mouse Disney Park Hours page. Disneyland Hours are also available there.

The November 2010 Park Operating Hours for Disneyland and California Adventure are now available. As many who are familiar with the west coast theme parks will know, Disney typically only releases the complete schedule a few months before the pending days.

Unlike Disney World in Florida which is typically a vacation destination for many from around the world, the Disneyland complex attracts more of a local crowd meaning most who visit there are not planning their trip months in advance. This gives Disney a bit more flexibility in determining the park hours for these locations.

Of course, as anyone who has visited Disneyland or California Adventure know – the parks have plenty to offer. One can easily fill several days with activities to make for a great vacation. Another nice thing about Disneyland versus Disney World is its smaller size. Whereas in Disney World, transportation is a must. In Disneyland, many hotels are within easy walking distance. This comes in extremely handy for those quick trips back to the room for a nap, new shoes, etc.!

Of note, the hours provided below cover the Thanksgiving holiday which would make an ideal time for a vacation to the parks!

Morning Magic Hours are noted in the calendar with "MMH." Those who have visited Disneyland in the past may recognize the format as the previous "Early Entry." Walt Disney World patrons will find it is similar to the morning "Extended Magic Hours" offered there. However, there are a few requirements to keep in mind.

Walt Disney World December 2009 Park Hours

by All Things Mouse Staff on December 2, 2009
Walt Disney World

To catch everyone up on the parks hours for WDW, we have added them for this month. We cover all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) as well as for the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon). Extended Magic Hours (EMH).

**Please note the extended hours offered throughout the month, especially those between Christmas and New Years. Obviously, crowd levels will be extremely high, but the hours should help, especially for those willing to go early (some parks are opening at 7AM) or stay late (some nights parks are open until 3 AM).

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is closed the month of December for refurbishment. For those wanting a water park experience, Blizzard Beach is slated to be open 10AM-5PM daily. Continue reading “Walt Disney World December 2009 Park Hours” »

Extra Magic Hours

by All Things Mouse Staff on November 1, 2009
Walt Disney World

There are many benefits to staying on Disney property for your Walt Disney World vacation.  One of the great options is the Extra Magic Hours.  All you need is your Resort ID (Room Key Card) and your Theme Park ticket for the day to take advantage of extra time in a selected theme park that day.

Each day, one of the four theme parks is chosen to either open one hour early or stay open up to three hours later than its regularly scheduled time.  During these extra hours, some of the most popular attractions are open for you to enjoy.  The best part is that only other Disney Resort guests are allowed in during these hours, so the lines are shorter and the crowds are smaller than during the rest of the day. At some times of the year, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon also offer morning Extra Magic Hours for Disney resort guests.
