Disney has announced the narrator list for the Disneyland 2012 Candlelight Ceremony and Processional. The processional has been a tradition at Disneyland since 1958 and has included such famous guest narrators as John Wayne and Cary Grant.

The 2012 event will be held two times per night from December 1, 2012 through December 20, 2012. Disney indicates it is free to attend for annual passholders as well as those who book selected dining reservations which entitles them to reserved seating. September brings Halloween theming to the Disney Parks, especially Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Of course, it is no surprise that these two parks are adorned in orange and black as the two host special parties linked to the holiday.

Through the Disney Parks Blog, a partial list of narrators for the 2012 Candlelight Processional showings at Epcot of Walt Disney World Resort has been announced. This list is not complete as the Candlelight Processional will be offered on more dates, however, these are the only confirmed narrators to this point.

Most of the listed narrators are return guests. This includes the ever-popular Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg and Marlee Matlin. Disneyland Has Special Holiday Events Too!

Most familiar with Disney think of Walt Disney World Resort for an elevated holiday experience. However, one would be remiss if they also did not include Disneyland Resort of California as a choice for giving guests an opportunity to experience true Christmas magic.

While it is true, Disneyland has neither the size nor the resources of its Florida counterpart, that does not mean it is any less special during the season. In fact, many prefer the special events of Disneyland over Disney World if for no other reason than it is the park that started it all.
