Classic Disney lovers know well the story of Bambi – the sixth full-length animated feature released by Disney back in 1942. It follows the story of a young deer, Bambi, who is forced to grow up in the wild without his mother who was shot by hunters.
What many do not know is the enhanced capabilities available in conjunction with the new Bambi Blu-Ray™ release from earlier this month. In news that will delight many Disney Fans, Netflix, Inc. and Disney-ABC Television Group have penned an agreement that will allow Netflix to offer streaming of hundreds of new television episodes never before previously available to Netflix.
This includes shows from the ABC Television Network, the Disney Channel and ABC Family, the latter of which has never before been available in streaming format to anyone. The agreement will allow the new shows to be streamed beginning 15 days after they initially air.

In celebration and preparation for the upcoming re-release of the animated Disney Classic Beauty and the Beast in a Diamond Edition Blu-ray™ and DVD Combo Pack, Fathom Events is planning to show the digitally remastered movie in true High Definition for two showings only.
Playing in select theaters nation-wide, the classic will be shown on September 29 at 6:30 PM and on October 2 at 12 PM (both at local time). Fans will have only these two opportunities to re-live the Beauty and the Beast experience, or have to wait a few more days and buy the new Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack.
Fathom Events is known for its unique movie-going experiences. It offers many diverse opportunities for fans of many different genres to attend events in their local theaters. A quick look at some of the up-coming events scheduled through Fathom include a Rolling Stones concert, the Mosley vs. Mora Fight Live and a re-showing of the horror classic The Exorcist. The new lights, water, video and music extravaganza known as World of Color at Disney’s California Adventure has proven extremely popular with the west coast theme park guests.
So much so, in fact, that Disney announced today that they are adding another show to the nightly line-up of World of Color offerings. This brings the total to three giving guests several opportunities a night to take in the new attraction.

In anticipation of the upcoming new movie release from Disney called Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton, the Disney Company is sponsoring a great sweepstakes you may want to take advantage of: The Alice In Wonderland Six Impossible Things Sweepstakes.
The movie itself is an adaption of Lewis Carroll’s 1865 novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. You may also recall that Disney created an animated feature from this same storyline that premiered back in 1951. The live-action remake utilizes the talents of such well-known stars as Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Alan Rickman.
Saving money and vacationing don’t always seem like they would go hand in hand, but that is just what is happening at The Great Piggy Bank Adventure at Epcot in Walt Disney World. This Innoventions exhibit sponsored by T. Rowe Price helps families learn the basics of saving and investing. Participants use a cute pink plastic Personal Investment Guide (otherwise known as a P.I.G.) to track their progress through the interactive exhibit.
