Rumored Upcoming Disney Parks Celebration

Nothing has been officially announced as of yet, but it appears the Disney Parks celebration theme for 2010 will be forthcoming this week.  Please keep in mind that at this point, this is all rumor and speculation until Disney confirms or denies it.

You may recall that in 2009 we were treated to the “What Will You Celebrate” year from Disney Parks.  Part of this theme involved free park entry (or other gift of approximately equal value) on your birthday.  You had to sign up for the promotion in advance, but it appeared to go over quite well for those that were lucky enough to be at a park on their birthday.

Before “What Will You Celebrate,” Disney ran the “Year of a Million Dreams” for funnily enough, a couple of years.  This event involved giving out “dreams” to lucky guests which could be anything from free Mickey ear-hats to a night’s stay in a specially created suite inside Cinderella Castle.

Apparently, the 2010 theme is going to involve volunteerism.  Once again, no details are available, but if true, volunteering your time to qualified organizations could earn you special Disney perks.

We should hopefully have more information on this real soon!
