Walt Disney World has just released some new room only discounts available for most on-property resort stays this summer from May 2, 2010 through August 14, 2010.

Through the terms of the discounts, those planning to stay at one of the value level resorts including the All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports and Pop Century could save an additional 15% off the normal rack rates of the room.  Before discount, these rooms would normally start at between $105 and $134 per night for two adults.  After the discount, the price could come down to between $90 and $114 per night.

Moderate resorts like the Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs and the Cabin’s at Disney’s Fort Wilderness can receive up to a 20% discount.  This takes the normal per night rate of $175-$205 down to $140-$164.

A bigger percentage discount is given to the Deluxe Resorts including the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Contemporary, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge and the Yacht Club.  Rooms here go from $240-$320 typically during this time period, but with the discount come down to $180-$240 with a 25% reduced rate.

Finally, the Villa resorts drop up to 30%.  This brings the $295-$330 regular rate rooms down to $207-231. These resorts include the Animal Kingdom Villas (both Kidani Village and Jambo House), Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort, Beachclub Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

The new promotion known as Summer Nightastic will be running through this same time-frame which is sure to be a big hit with Disney-lovers.

Some special rules may apply and the number of discounted rooms is limited, so those interested will want to book early at or via their travel agent.
