Walt Disney World

Those interested in taking  a trip to Walt Disney World may want to look into the new special they are offering on select dates through June 3.  Under the special, packages that are booked according to the requirements will get a gift card valued up to $750 at no additional charge.

Reservations for the special can be made online at www.waltdisneyworld.com, by calling Disney at (407) 939-7939, or using your own travel agent with booking code QGX. Packages available with the special are based on availability and must be booked by March 27, 2010 for select dates.

The value of the gift card offered is dependant upon the level of resort selected:

  • To receive a $750 Disney Gift Card, reserve a minimum 5-night/6-day non-discounted Magic Your Way Package at select Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.  The deluxe resort special is available for arrivals on January 3 through January 10, January 19 through March 27 and April 11 through June 3.
  • To receive a $500 Disney Gift Card, reserve the required package at select Disney Moderate Resorts.  For moderate resorts, the special applies to arrivals on January 3, January 10 through January 12, January 18 through March 27, and April 11 through June 3.
  • A $300 Disney Gift Card is available to those who reserve the package special at select Disney Value Resorts. Included arrival nights are January 3, January 10 through January 12, January 18 through February 9, February 15 through March 27 and April 11 through June 3.

Aside from the shopping you can do with the gift card, they may also be used for most dining options in the World, special event tickets, tours, etc.

The obvious downside to the special is that you must book a non-discounted Magic Your Way package.  Those interested in visiting the Mouse during this time frame will want to check on other specials such as room-only discounts to make sure they are receiving the best special as it would apply to their own situation.

For more information, contact Disney or your travel agent.
