Magic Kingdom Transforms For The Holidays

With Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties officially over for the season, it was time for the Magic Kingdom to shed its pumpkin decorations and take on a more winter-like atmosphere.

That is exactly what happened, and for the most part, the changes seem to occur almost overnight (or over a couple of nights).  Take the video below for example, it shows some time-lapse photography of the transformation of the area in front of Main Street Station.  Down comes the orange and black, and up goes the Christmas trees and twinkling lights. (Thanks to DisneyParks for the video.)

In just a few hours time, the front of the park has been made-over to a beautiful holiday landscape.  This same magical transformations takes place throughout the world, both in the parks and the resorts.

Of course, for those that missed the Halloween Party, do not fret.  Disney has your holiday season covered with special Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties, complete with special parades and fireworks, all held at the Magic Kingdom.
