Those looking for the February 2014 Park Hours for the four theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort of Florida need look no further as they are now available here on All Things Mouse. These hours include the opening and closing times for the theme parks of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

If planning a visit to Disney World in February, there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, for a majority of the month, the crowd levels tend to be relatively light. This means you can generally get more done in a shorter period as the wait times for the attractions are usually shorter than they are other times of the year.

However, with smaller crowds comes shorter park hours. As Disney is a business and needs to maximize profit, the parks tend to be open for less hours during days when less people are expected to be in the parks. This is not always a bad thing, however. When the park you are visiting that day closes earlier in the evening, consider going back to your resort to rest up for another big day. Or perhaps take advantage of a late dining reservation at a resort restaurant or Downtown Disney.

Two major holidays occur in February in the United States. This first is Valentine’s Day which is on the 14th and President’s Day which is on the 17th. Of those two, President’s Day may somewhat affect crowd levels as many schools are not in session.

February can be a bit cold for some in Disney World. For example, the average high during the month is only 73° with the average low coming in at 50°. Average rainfall in February is only 2.71", one of the driest months of the year.

Despite the colder weather, you may still want to take advantage of one of the Disney World Water Parks. Blizzard Beach, however, is scheduled to be closed the entire month for refurbishment. Typhoon Lagoon is expected to be open each day from 10AM-5PM.

Shown on the calendar below in addition to the standard hours for the four main theme parks are the Extra Magic Hours. These are additional hours select parks are open to qualifying guests. This includes guests staying at one of the many resorts of Disney World.
