As you wander around the World Showcase of Epcot in Walt Disney World, one of the areas you will come across is the United Kingdom  Pavilion.

Just like the other pavilions of World Showcase, the United Kingdom is designed to be reminiscent of the country it represents.  To accomplish this, Disney used several different architectural styles to take guests from the center of a London square to the countryside.  All in quite a convincing manner.

Along the way, guests are offered several different opportunities that are consistent with the theming and give you a glimpse of what the United Kingdom has to offer.

The Crown & Crest offers a medieval theming with many items for sale including mugs and chess sets.  Connected to it is the Sportsman Shoppe which houses some gear for the sporting events the United Kingdom is known for like soccer.  This section is designed to resemble a stone manor.

In the Tea Caddy, a small cottage offers guests a place to purchase English teas, china, biscuits and candies.  For a more elegant time, visit the Queen’s Table where finer perfumes and soaps are found.

Finally, the Magic of Wales offers British Rock ‘N Roll themed items like gear related to the Beatles.

That final store ties right in with the British Invasion, a Beatles sound alike group, which entertains guests in the garden courtyard at select times.

Those interested in drink and food will want to visit the Rose & Crown Pub for some British themed spirits and dining options.  The pub also makes an excellent place to snag a table, order something and catch Illuminations if you can.

Also, a small quick service restaurant offers Fish and Chips which is sure to please almost everyone’s appetite.
