Walt Disney World has recently announced the nights when it will hold Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom this fall. These dates come at about the same time as they did last year offering those guests planning a fall trip to Disney World a chance to decide if and when they would like to attend the event.

Those thinking of going to the Halloween Party will want to consider purchasing their tickets in advance as it is not uncommon for the event to sell-out. These special event tickets offer entry into the Magic Kingdom on a specific night during which the party is held. Guests not holding one of the date-specific tickets will not be allowed entry into the park.

Guests who do attend are encouraged to dress up in an appropriate Halloween costume and will be treated to amenities designed solely for party nights. This includes actual trick-or-treating locations offered around the park where everyone (adults included) can stock up on candy of all kinds!

Also included in the entry is special character Meet-and-Greets with those characters dressed up in their very own unique Halloween garb. Also, the Magic Kingdom is transformed during that time to get you into the fall holiday spirit with special lights, decorations and even area music.

Another special treat is Happy HalloWishes, the Magic Kingdom fireworks show created with a Halloween twist. Finally, and a favorite of many, Disney offers the Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade only during these select party nights.

According to Walt Disney World, the 2011 nights that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held include September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 and October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28 30, 31 and November 1.

Tickets may be purchased in advance starting at $53.95 for adults and $47.95 for kids aged 3-9. Some nights the tickets are priced higher.  Contact Disney or your travel agent to purchase.

For other park hours during this time, consult the Disney Park Hours page.
