Disney Parks are in the process of ramping up the fight against the seasonal and H1N1 flu according to the official Disney Parks blog.

Aside from the normally diligent cleaning and sanitation efforts used daily at all the Disney parks, procedures are being put in place to increase the frequency for ‘high-touch’ areas.  Examples of these might be drinking fountains, door knobs, lavatories, etc.

Disney also stated that they are placing bulk hand sanitizer dispensers at strategic points in the parks to allow guests access as needed to the product.  One such location is the meet and greet areas where a lot of kids get in close proximity with each-other and with the costumed characters.

Also, in order to reinforce good hygiene procedures it appears that recommendations will also be printed in the guest brochures.  Evidently items like sneezing or coughing into your elbow or arm instead of your hands will be listed along with not touching your face if you can help it.
