Disney’s A Christmas Carol Opens Weaker Than Expected

Disney’s new movie, a Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey, had an opening weekend lower than experts predicted, but still managed to rake in a solid $31 million. Disney, for its part,  did not appear concerned over the missed target.  According to them, the movie did meet their internal expectations.
