In anticipation of the upcoming new movie release from Disney called Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton, the Disney Company is sponsoring a great sweepstakes you may want to take advantage of: The Alice In Wonderland Six Impossible Things Sweepstakes.

The movie itself is an adaption of Lewis Carroll’s 1865 novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.  You may also recall that Disney created an animated feature from this same storyline that premiered back in 1951.  The live-action remake utilizes the talents of such well-known stars as Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Alan Rickman.

As far as the sweepstakes goes, there are some great prizes to be had.  The grand prize is three Visa gift cards worth $2,000 each.  There will be three first prizes in the sweepstakes entitling winners to a 3-day/2-night trip in one of three categories: Movie Surfer Experience Trip, Radio Disney DJ Experience Trip or the Disney Movie Premiere Experience Trip.  Approximate value of the trip prizes is $5,000 each.

Finally, there will be two second prizes awarded entitling the winners to their choice of a prop from the movie or Tim Burton signed art from the movie.  Either of those prizes have an anticipated retail value of $500.

Entry in the sweepstakes may be made either online at Disney’s Alice In Wonderland website or by sending a text message including any of the words “HATTER” “REDQUEEN” “WHITEQUEEN” “SIX” “PRIZE” “TEAPARTY” “RABBIT” “DRINKME” “DATE” “ADVENTURE” “DESTINY” “WONDERLAND” and “JOURNEY” to 347639.

The sweepstakes is running February 1, 2010 – March 8, 2010.  It appears you may enter up to ten times per day via either method.  See the official rules for all the details.
