It has been announced that Downtown Disney in Orlando will undergo a multi-year transformation as plans are underway to makeover the retail and restaurant section of the Walt Disney World Resort into a new area known as Disney Springs. Construction will begin on the transformation this spring and is scheduled to be completed in four years.
All Things Mouse now has the complete operating park hours of October 2013 for the theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort of Florida. Included in these park hours are the opening and closing times for the theme parks of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
October is generally a very nice time to plan a visit to Disney World and this one in 2013 should be of no exception. Crowd levels during the month are typically quite low, especially when compared to a visit during peak season.
As the winter season is about to come to a close, the likelihood of getting a Disney discount also appears to be fading for the near future. This is common as the spring and summer seasons are extremely popular at the Disney resorts and theme parks meaning they do not need to offer discounts to bring in the guests.
