Disneyland® 10K Added to Disneyland Marathon Weekend

It has been confirmed that a Disneyland® 10K has been added to the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. The weekend is scheduled for August 30 through September 1, 2013 at the Disneyland Resort.

The addition of the 10k event offers one more opportunity for those looking for an extra Disney related challenge. The marathon weekend also includes the half marathon, the Family Fun Run 5k, kids races, a health and fitness expo and a pasta party in the park. The complete January 2013 Disneyland Park Hours are now available here on All Things Mouse. These operating hours for the two theme parks of the Disneyland Resort (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park) will likely be of interest for anyone planning a trip there in January.

Shown in the calendar below are the scheduled opening and closing times for the theme parks. This should help you plan your trip by letting you know what time you can get into the parks in the morning and what time you will have to leave at the end of the day.

July 2013 Disney World Park Hours

The July 2013 Park Hours are now available for the four theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort. This includes the parks of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Like the previous month of June 2013, July is likely to be a relatively busy time for Disney World. Summer tends to bring the big crowds as families take advantage of summer vacation times with kids being out of school.

Disney Special Offers are not reserved during the holiday season for just the Walt Disney World Resort and its California sister, the Disneyland Resort. Disney Cruise Lines also has several special offers currently available for booking.

With a Grand Opening Celebration held this morning, December 6, 2012, the New Fantasyland expansion of the Magic Kingdom of  Walt Disney World Resort is officially open. This opening marks the culmination of years of work on the park that was first announced to the public back in 2009.

The expansion is the largest in the history of Magic Kingdom which opened itself forty-one years ago in 1971.
