Previews have begun for the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Official opening of the attraction is scheduled for December 6, 2012.

Some guests have already been able to take the walk-through as Disney completes the final touches before the grand opening. The attraction is located between Toy Story Mania! and the Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream exhibit in Soundstage 4, the former location of Journey into Narnia. With the Thanksgiving Holiday behind us, thoughts can now turn to the fast-approaching Christmas season. That fact is not lost on Disney whose theme parks and resorts have been decked out in holiday garb for weeks now.

Disneyland December 2012 Park Hours

Holidays are a big draw for the Disney Parks bringing in guests who want to enjoy the festive decorations and special events, or just those who are able to get some time off of work and school. Accordingly, many people are likely interested in the December 2012 Disneyland Park Hours that are now available here on All Things Mouse.

These hours cover both theme parks of the Disneyland Resort including Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The daily schedule for the complete month of December is shown giving times when the parks will open and times when they will close.

June 2013 Disney World Park Hours

Guests looking to visit Walt Disney World next summer will undoubtedly be interested in the June 2013 Park Hours that are now available here on All Things Mouse. These park hours show the operating times for the four major theme parks of Disney World including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Summer is a busy time at Disney as many families take advantage of the summer breaks from school and plan their vacations down to the parks. This does not mean, however, that it is impossible to accomplish anything at the parks, or that you should avoid going just because of the crowds.

Guests at the Magic Kingdom of the Walt Disney World Resort will soon be able to take advantage of most of the $425 million Fantasyland expansion taking place at the theme park. Soft opening of a majority of the expansion occurs in just a few days on November 19, 2012 with the grand opening scheduled for December 6, 2012.

Portions of the area have already opened. Most notably the Storybook Circus section opened in July. Included in the area are the Barnstormer, the Casey Jr. Splash & Soak Station and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Continue reading “Just Days Away From New Fantasyland Opening at Magic Kingdom” »


Multiple sources have confirmed that the two theme parks of the Disneyland Resort in California have begun aggressive enforcement against the practice known as ticket renting. The increased scrutiny into the practice started several days ago and appears as if it will remain for the foreseeable future.

Guests attempting to use any 4 or 5 day ticket at either Disneyland or its sister park, Disney California Adventure Park, will be directed towards special gates at those respective parks.
