Three years ago, All Things Mouse gave you a primer on Disney World Park Tickets 101: The Basics that, at the time, offered readers up-to-date information on understanding Disney World Park tickets as well as the associated pricing for those tickets. As one can imagine, some of the information has changed in the last few years.

Marking a change of policy for the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World Resort, beer and wine will be served regularly at one of its open to the public restaurants. The change was announced earlier this month and applies to the yet to be opened Be Our Guest Restaurant being constructed as part of the new Fantasyland expansion.

The October 2012 Disneyland Park Hours are now available here on All Things Mouse. These operating hours cover the entire month of October 2012 for the two theme parks of the Disneyland Resort including Disneyland itself as well as its sister park California Adventure.

Since it is October, Halloween related activities are in full swing. This includes Mickey’s Halloween Party held on select nights at Disneyland.

April 2013 Disney World Hours

The April 2013 Operating Park Hours for Walt Disney World Resort are now available here on All Things Mouse. These park hours include the opening and closing times for the four theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Having these hours in advance of your trip allows you to plan your Disney World visit to be the most efficient possible. By knowing when the parks will be open, you can schedule your dining reservations or just consider which parks you might want to visit on which days.

September brings Halloween theming to the Disney Parks, especially Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Of course, it is no surprise that these two parks are adorned in orange and black as the two host special parties linked to the holiday.

There are only three Disney-owned resort hotels located in close proximity to Disneyland. One of those three is Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel which can be found adjacent to the California Adventure theme park.

Of the three, the Paradise Pier Hotel is the second to be constructed in the area, and the second to be owned by the Walt Disney Company. Preceding Paradise Pier, the Disneyland Hotel was initially opened in 1955 along with Disneyland itself, but was not acquired by the Walt Disney Company until 1989.
