Those visiting Walt Disney World® Resort next weekend should be aware that the annual marathon will be going on. The marathon (which actually consists of several different events) will take place January 5, 2012 through January 8, 2012.
With just a little over three months before the scheduled inaugural cruise of the Disney Fantasy, final touches are being completed on the Disney Cruise Line ship. One of those touches was the addition of Dumbo the Flying Elephant as one of the stern characters to be featured on the Fantasy.
Those looking for the Operating Park Hours Schedule for Disneyland and California Adventure for the entire month of January 2012 need look no further. That schedule is offered below showing the park hours for both west coast theme parks.
January is a typically a slower time for Disneyland and California Adventure which means it can be a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. With lower crowds, the park hours tend to be slightly shorter than at times like the summer, but since those crowds are smaller you are usually able to get more done in those fewer hours.
The exception to the lighter crowds and the shorter hours is the first week of January 2012. As many schools are still out for the holidays, this week can tend to be busy and Disney offers extended hours to accommodate.
The Operating Park Hours for July 2012 are now available for the parks of Walt Disney World Resort. These July 2012 hours include the four theme parks of Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) as well as the two water parks (Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach).
July is a popular time to visit Disney World despite the relatively hot temperatures of the season. Families are still in the midst of taking their summer vacations and Disney World happens to be one of those destinations that many families seek out.
Most familiar with Disney think of Walt Disney World Resort for an elevated holiday experience. However, one would be remiss if they also did not include Disneyland Resort of California as a choice for giving guests an opportunity to experience true Christmas magic.
While it is true, Disneyland has neither the size nor the resources of its Florida counterpart, that does not mean it is any less special during the season. Visitors to Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays will now have one more option available to them as an activity offered just during the season. According to Disney, ”The Comedy Warehouse Holiday Special” will be open for showings at select times and days.
