One of the great benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is the Extra Magic Hours. Unfortunately, many people do not understand what Extra Magic Hours are and those of us who have been around Disney can make it seem more confusing with the acronym of EMH.

Quickly stated, Extra Magic Hours are extended park hours when one of the four main theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom) either opens early or stays open late, but just for guests of one of the many resorts of Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World Operating Park Hours for February 2012 have now been issued by the Florida based resort and are posted below.

February is generally a great time to visit Walt Disney World if you are one that enjoys lighter park crowds. Of course, the weather can be cooler so you will need to pack accordingly. It should be noted that Monday, February 20, 2011 is President’s Day in the United States. That means crowd levels will be higher the few days before and the few days after that date as families will travel more when the kids are off from school.

According to reports, Disney has teamed up with a company called ValidFill and is testing the new beverage dispensers at the End Zone Food Court at the All Star Sports Resort. The video above contains an overview from ValidFill of the technology it has to offer. Continue reading “Disney World Tests Beverage Validation System” »

Like the previously mentioned Finding Nemo – The Musical, the Festival of the Lion King is a family friendly attraction that offers something for everyone in your group. This applies to those well-seasoned individuals down to the infants in your party.
